BluePrint Construction was started in an effort to bring affordable, quality residential, remodeling, addition, and new homes as the elite home remodeling Omaha company. We strive to be committed to bringing your ideas to light. With our experienced team of carpenters and subcontractors, we can make anything a reality. Don Stormberg personally manages each job to make sure the experience and dedication to quality are put into each and every job. All the craftsmen and subcontractors are all on the same page with our commitment to quality.

We don’t take on every project, but we make sure that we maintain the highest standards of quality and integrity in all the work that we do. Experience—Don has been in the field of custom home remodeling Omaha, additions, and custom homes for 25+ years. He has a degree in construction engineering. And always works to continue his education on the new and latest technologies.

Appreciation to Customer Vision—Each customer brings to the table the vision that they want. Sometimes it is difficult to communicate or describe. With all of my experience i have seen so many ideas and styles that even the smallest want or desire can start a collaborative design process that will bring to light the vision that you have. We have had the privilege to be working with some of the best architects and designers in Omaha and surrounding areas. We work hand in hand to bring your design and dream to life.

At BluePrint Construction, we place integrity above everything. Our Story

Started in 2006, we started out as a small home remodeling Omaha company but committed to doing the best work in the industry. Our team has grown slowly along the way with an education for each employee to be courteous, respectful, honest, quality-oriented, and with a desire to have each homeowner experience be great. Don’s experience in the quality residential construction spans from the early 90’s into now. I have had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the business and in my personal life.

Owner’s Bio

Don Stormberg was born and raised in the Dundee area of Omaha. He went to St. Margaret Mary’s grade school, Creighton Prep High School, and graduated with a Construction Engineering degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I love construction and building. 


Often following my dad around the house and yard fixing and building things. My passion was subconsciously set into place when I was a little shaver and my parents hired a contractor to build an addition onto the back of our house. I would make my lunch in the morning and head out to the backyard and work with the carpenters. At lunchtime, I would take the lunch I packed and have lunch with them and talk about construction and what comes next. In high school, I had a great architect teacher who instilled in me an eye for design. It has been a really great ride over the years, and I have learned so much about home remodeling in Omaha. Always learning. I want to bring that experience, knowledge, and respect to every project.


On a personal note, I am the youngest of 10 children. My dad is originally from Potter, Nebraska, and my mother is from Dunlap, Iowa. They met in Omaha after dad returned from WW2. I have 6 children, which are a blessing and a lot of work, but they are turning out to be wonderful adults. The oldest is 27 and the youngest is 18. I like to bike. I have done Ragbai in Iowa twice with my wife and best friend from first grade. I have two dogs, Roxy, a Golden Retriever, and a Burmese Mountain dog called Koda. Two cats, Alekay and a Maincoon, Gracy. They all come to work with me every day.
